Salary Package
- Annual Salary: £22,000 – £26,000 per year (full-time contract)
- Monthly Salary: Approx. £1,800 – £2,200 (based on experience & hotel policy)
- Overtime Rate: £11.50 – £12.50 per hour (paid separately for extra hours only)
Importantly, the full-time salary is fixed, while hourly pay applies only for overtime shifts beyond standard working hours.
Shift Pattern
- Rotational shifts (morning, afternoon, evening)
- Weekend and holiday shifts required
- Flexible scheduling based on hotel occupancy
However, shift planning ensures compliance with UK working time regulations and fair duty distribution.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service & Interaction
You will welcome guests warmly and professionally. In addition, you will maintain a friendly, smiling, and approachable attitude, ensuring guests feel comfortable and valued throughout their dining experience.
Order Taking & Menu Handling
You will take accurate food and beverage orders and ensure correct communication with kitchen teams. Furthermore, you will clearly explain menu items and assist guests in making informed choices when needed.
Kitchen Coordination
You will coordinate closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow. Consequently, you will help maintain timely preparation and efficient delivery of orders.
Service Quality & Presentation
You will serve food and beverages according to hotel standards. Similarly, you will ensure cleanliness, table arrangement, and overall dining presentation are consistently maintained.
Hospitality Standards
You will follow hygiene, safety, and hotel SOP guidelines. On the other hand, you will also contribute to a positive team environment and uphold the hotel’s reputation for excellent service.
