Role Overview

In this Front Office Job Newry, Northern Ireland, you will take responsibility for both front desk and restaurant supervision duties.

You will welcome guests, manage seating and reservations, coordinate with kitchen staff, and ensure that service runs smoothly and efficiently throughout the day. Key Responsibilities

Front Office & Guest Handling

  • Welcome guests and ensure a positive first impression
  • Manage reservations, walk-ins, and seating arrangements

  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area

Restaurant Supervision

  • Supervise daily restaurant operations during service hours
  • Coordinate between kitchen and service teams for smooth workflow
  • Ensure timely order delivery and accurate service execution
  • Monitor table turnover and guest flow

Inventory & Stock Control

  • Track daily usage of kitchen and restaurant materials
  • Maintain basic stock records and highlight shortages
  • Monitor wastage and ensure efficient resource use

Purchasing Coordination

  • Coordinate with suppliers for essential restaurant items
  • Support timely procurement of kitchen and service supplies
  • Ensure stock availability as per operational demand

Staff Coordination

  • Supervise front-of-house staff during shifts
  • Assign duties and ensure smooth team coordination
  • Maintain discipline and service standards

Customer Experience

  • Ensure high-quality guest experience at all times
  • Handle complaints calmly and resolve issues quickly
  • Maintain consistent service standards across shifts

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary: £24,000 – £28,000 per year (based on experience)
  • Overtime: Paid as per UK hospitality norms
