Job Details
- Job Title: Waiter / Waitress
- Location: Southville, Bristol BS3 1JF, United Kingdom
- Contract Type: Temporary, Part-Time
- Weekly Hours: Around 20 hours per week
- Shift Pattern: Rotational shifts, mainly peak hours (12:00 PM – 10:30 PM), including weekends
- Hourly Pay: £11.50 – £13.25 per hour + tips/service charge (as applicable)
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and seat guests in a polite and professional manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and communicate them clearly
- Serve meals and beverages efficiently during busy service periods
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of dining areas and tables
- Assist customers with menu choices and daily specials
- Handle guest queries and resolve issues professionally
- Work closely with kitchen and bar teams for smooth operations
- Follow hygiene, safety, and licensing standards at all times
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Flexibility for evening, weekend, and peak-hour shifts
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK (visa/settled status required where applicable)
